What truly makes us unique is our people: our residents, their families and our staff. Below are written accounts from some of our own who help to make Victory Hills a great place to live.
“I spent the day with my Granny, Thelma Crenshaw, at Victory Hills today. Her apartment is very clean, neat, and well furnished, yet she has personal belongings that make it her home. Every employee who saw Granny today was sensitive, attentive, and caring. I was touched by the tender voices that the ladies in the cafeteria used. It was so nice when they bent over and spoke into the ears of residents who had difficulty hearing - instead of raising their voices or being harsh. Denise Border was especially nice to everyone she met. She had hugs and kind words for everyone she met there. I can't express to you how secure I feel knowing that Granny is in your care.”

“To all at Victory Hills who make every day of the year good for me. You are so special!”
Helen C., Resident
“They have a phenomenal staff. It is because of this staff that the environment is warm and comfortable. From the administrator to the janitor, I am amazed by their attentiveness.”

“My name is Cindy Eden and I am so grateful to work at Victory Hills. Not only am I an employee but my mom was also a resident here. She had a great experience; she loved the food, socialization and all the staff. We chose Victory Hills for my Mom because it was in a close, safe and secure location; they have activities, meals, housekeeping, transportation, and 24 hour staff and nurses on site. The managers have an open door policy and will always speak to any resident or family member. I like that the residents enjoy a variety of activities but I think that the one thing that means the most to them is our smiles and greetings to them."

“I have worked here for 6 years and think this is a great place for seniors to live and a great place to work. I really enjoy all the residents and the fun and caring atmosphere we bring to them every day!”
Candice Covington, Director of Nursing
“I have made great new friends and found several former friends here that I had lost track of. Also, I realize with my advanced age that I am fortunate to have my nice apartment with weekly cleaning, choice of two meals each evening and choice of type of breakfast each day, and free transportation. We receive a monthly calendar listing various activities, something for everyone to enjoy! Security necklaces are furnished to each resident, and assisted living is available if needed.”
